Emergency Service Services: These are all the services provided to the patient in the emergency department in order to protect the patient from disability or death in case of health problems that develop due to sudden illness, accident, injury and similar unexpected situations.
2nd Level Emergency Service: Emergency patients are met by general practitioners, emergency health services can be provided at the expert level on a 24-hour uninterrupted service basis under the responsibility of at least one specialist from the internal or surgical branches, and other branch specialists can provide emergency services on demand (home duty) according to the need. These are emergency services that provide health services.
Our hospital's emergency department is registered as level 2. According to the level of our emergency service; It meets the following conditions: Emergency service service delivery areas, initial examination, intervention and observation rooms and waiting rooms in sufficient number and quality in accordance with the specified minimum standard; Next to the emergency department, there is a cafeteria that provides 24-hour service to patients' relatives, an announcement system, an information board for the patient's relatives, a security counter/room, a waiting area for men and women, and personal areas (toilet and sink) designed to benefit the disabled. The physical structure of the emergency room has been arranged taking into account the principles of security, traceability, simplicity, flexible modular structure, confidentiality and confidentiality. Our emergency service areas have appropriate air conditioning, ventilation and lighting conditions for patients and staff. There is a reception desk at the entrance of the emergency department, and sufficient numbers of wheelchairs and stretchers are available for emergency patients and patients who are unable to walk.
